File Specs
General Requirements
We accept PDF, PNG, or JPG files up to 50MB. For the best print quality, files should be exported at 300 DPI in CMYK color mode with bleeds included.
If you don't know what CMYK or bleeds are, don't panic. A high-res PDF or JPG from Canva will usually print fine, but colors might shift slightly.
Flyers
- Size: 4" × 6"
- Sides: 2-sided (front and back)
- Bleed: Add 0.125" on all sides (total size 4.25" × 6.25")
- Safe Zone: Keep critical text 0.25" from the edge
- Imprint Area: The bottom 0.25" of the back panel is reserved for a small Fire Island Flyers printer's mark ("Printed & distributed by Fire Island Flyers · fi-flyers.com"). Keep text and logos out of this strip — background color and imagery can run through it. Removal is free on request at checkout.
Posters
- Size: 11" × 17"
- Sides: 1-sided
- Bleed: Add 0.125" on all sides (total size 11.25" × 17.25")
- Safe Zone: Keep critical text 0.5" from the edge
